Tech giant Google has decided to bid adieu to another one of its apps this year. This time, it is Trusted Contacts. The app will be shunted out of the Google PlayStore from December 1, 2020, as per a report by Android Police.

Trusted Contacts was launched in 2016 and was updated with some features too over the years. But now Google thinks that it has run its course and reportedly decided to discontinue it.

As of now, the app has been pulled off from both Google Play Store and Apple App Store. For existing users, the app will work until December 1, 2020. After that, it will “stop being supported”. Those who have it and have been using it to share their location info with a trusted group of family and friends have until December 1 to download the list of them.
