Twitter has been ‘correcting’ US President Donald Trump’s behaviour on Twitter for quite some time by adding warning labels to some of his tweets but the company did something unexpected to make Trump follow its rules.

Twitter had locked Trump’s account on Monday for a short while for violating it’s a privacy policy, as per a report by Business Insider.

After journalist Miranda Devine wrote a column in the New York Post praising how Trump fought COVID-19, Trump returned the favour by posting a ‘thank you’ tweet dedicated to Miranda by quoting some portions of the column. While the content of the tweet itself did not violate any policies, Trump had made a little mistake which Twitter was unwilling to forgive.
