Panasonic has announced its first lens of the large aperture series based on L-mount and designed for Lumix S series full-frame mirrorless cameras. The new lens S-S85 comes with 85mm focal length with f/1.8 aperture and the company claims that it will offer a bokeh effect to enhance portrait photography.
Apart from this, the company has confirmed that all the upcoming large aperture lenses will have same size and will feature same diameter as well so that users can use same lens filters.
The S-S85 lens comes with f/1.8 aperture and it comprises 9 elements in 8 groups. The company has used 2ED (extra-low dispersion) lenses to suppress axial chromatic aberration and chromatic aberration of magnification.
